Pike Withers was asked by the operator of the hotel to design the interior of the main hotel restaurant, Kumo. Meaning cloud in Japanese. Located on the ground floor of the hotel the restaurant is a Japanese izakaya style informal eatery and bar which offers 2 private dining rooms and seating for up to 160 patrons. The interior takes inspiration from a traditional Japanese aesthetic and has panoramic views over to Mount Yotei.
