This project was an extension and full internal refurbishment of a small dark semi-detached house in Bondi.  The rear of the house was demolished and rebuilt with a second storey, new courtyard and garage.  The brief was to achieve a simplified sense of calm and maximise natural light.  The materials were chosen for their ability to foster a sense of casual, refined and modern seaside simplicity.
